This was Ashley in the car after our lunch stop in Yuma, AZ! We surprised her with our new portable DVD player (only for vacations) and a video of "Sid the Science Kid" one of her favorite cartoons! She loves to dance and just lights up when she sees it! :) She did such a great job on our drive that she only watched less than an hour there and maybe an hour home!
This was Ashley's first experience with a beach! She was slightly hesitant at first and had just been in the car for 6hours - so she was slowly ready to explore! She had fun and her expressions on some of these video's are priceless! :) She became very interested in the water, so we let her play and she got a little wet!
This was our second day at the beach and it was a chilly one! It was supposed to rain all this day so we headed down to the beach early. We made sure her little ears were covered and bundled her up! She was ready to dig in the sand and excited to play with her new sand toys! She made many friends while at the beach and was ready to go splash around in the water! The sun popped out for a little while and then it became cooler and it started to rain while we were playing in the water, so we packed up and got cleaned up!
