Daddy home from Kenya

As many of you know, Kevin was in various locations near Nairobi, Kenya for 18 days.  He went to Kenya with work (Intel Corp.) and he had an amazing experience.  While there, they taught teachers and students at Orphanages, how to use computers, the Internet, Google, other various computer programs and Skype.  They spent one week at an orphanage with apartment type living arrangements and great food.  The second week they were on a remote island with very different living arrangements; NO electricity and NO running water!  They had great food on week two also and met some amazing children, teachers, and village people!  He had an amazing time and was thankful for the experience!

Ashley and I missed Daddy greatly but we are beyond thankful for our great friends and family who were around to keep us company and checked in on us while he was away!  We had plenty of playdates and dinner dates with friends/family and I saved many new games, puzzles, and fun things for Ashley as surprises to fill our time apart!

18 days is a long time and we were very ready for Daddy to come home!  He arrived in Phoenix during nap time, so he decided to bring the blue shuttle home (which is how he left for his trip too; so that was great for Ashley!)  Ashley woke up literally 5 minutes before he pulled in, so that was perfect timing!  I got her ready and we ran outside, and Daddy was HOME! ! :)  Here are some cute pictures and video of her time with Daddy!

Waiting patiently for Daddy
