Potty Training

We bought our new potty's at the beginning of the summer (I posted SHOPPING pics on 6/16 on the blog of our shopping experience) I bought them early so she could get used to them, and I discussed the "vocabulary" with her, walked her through the process, etc, and one day she kind of told me she was ready "to go potty." I started taking her in to the bathroom every 30 min or so and she would go. . .we bought her the potty training "pull-up" diapers, and she felt like such a BIG GIRL! She loved them and was really enjoying the whole process. She would cheer and give high-fives, she loves to use her stool to wash her hands after and this whole process couldn't have gone smoother!

We had some family visitors in and out of town for a busy weekend, so we got a little off track as far as reminding her to stop what she's doing to go, but she did fine and thank you to Nana J, GiGi and Aunt Kathy for going in to see our "potty accomplishments" while you were here to visit! Ashley is very proud of herself and loves to show it to everyone! :) It's hilarious when you hear "come see" while she's on the potty! Since our visitors we have been working really hard at getting back on the potty training wagon, and I'm trying to stay home more so we can get back on track!

She has been doing so well and we're so proud of her! She has taken to this really fast and we still have a lot of work ahead of us, but we couldn't be prouder, and yea for us. . .she's not even 2 yet! :)

I love having my SUV with a huge trunk because my little girl loves to potty in my trunk! Yeah, I hate public bathrooms, so the longer she'll go potty in my trunk the better! :) Here are the only "appropriate pictures" for the blog/internet and a cute video of how excited she is!

Don't look at my messy trunk. . .busy shopping day and YEA no wet diaper for us. . .we held it in the store and went on the potty! :)
