New Kiddo Friendly Loft

I'm soooo behind on posting . .this is back from the end of August! :)   I'm slowly catching up and have much more to come!

We decided to sell my couch and chair w/ottoman from our loft to make room for a more kid friendly space! I placed 3 leaves in the nook by the stairs to keep the area safe from anyone falling over to the downstairs and made it a comfy reading/relaxation corner with pillows and beanbags! :) The teacher in me had a blast with this space! :)

We also bought her a new craft/coloring table with chairs and an awesome entertainment center with great cubbies for toys and books! We will be getting a new TV to place in the entertainment center so this space will be for watching and playing learning shows, movies, games, etc.

Ashley had a blast helping us put everything together and we had a great weekend turning this space into something amazing! :) She has always loved her downstairs playroom, but I think we definitely have a new winner! I can't keep her from drawing and dancing in her new space and we're excited for a few new things to be added from her birthday coming soon! :)

Daddy surprised Ashley with a day off! He wanted to go and enjoy a day at the pool with his girls! It was a warm day but we had an absolute blast!

2nd Haircut

Well it was time for another haircut! We've been trying to let her bangs grow out, but the rest looked a little unhealthy, so we took her in for a trim.

She had done so well with her last haircut, but she was very hesitant and not too fond of her stylist today! I had to resort to the paci (usually only used to sleep).I had to whip out the big guns because the tears were a flowing!

Her hair looks adorable now, she had about 1-1.5in's cut-off and it looks so much healthier now!

Fuddruckers for Dinner

We were out running some errands and enjoyed a nice dinner at Fuddruckers! Ashley loved her dinner and is always such a good girl wherever we got to eat! !

Monsoon Fun

We have had some great monsoon's this summer, and Ashley loves watching all the storms with us! Her and Daddy brought a chair out front and sat in our "somewhat of" a front porch to watch the storm! It was perfect because the porch kept most of the wind and rain off of them, so they were able to take in the cooler temperatures and enjoy the storm!

Kind of a neat story. . .my friend Heather and I have known each other since 1st grade! We lost touch after High School and through the beginning of college, and then found each other since getting married and having babies! We can't believe it's been 20+ yrs and now OUR kiddos are playing together, it's really awesome!

Today we decided to take Liam (2.5 yrs old) and AshB (23 months) to one of our local pools that has a great toddler zone, splash pad, lazy river, and slides! The kids had a blast and I got some cute pictures of the two of them playing like crazy! They play so well together and are the best behaved kiddos, we're very lucky!

This video is hilarious because it totally shows Ashley being Ashley! She loves to play, laugh, and has the most amazing personality! And to top it all off, her favorite song came on the radio while we were playing and she started dancing/singing like crazy! She's too much! :)

Gifts from Wisconsin

Such a nice summer surprise! Ashley loved having some gifts to open and had such excitement as she opened them! Thanks to Aunt Lisa and Uncle Jim for her adorable pants, really looking forward to our cooler weather so she can enjoy them! She can't get enough of the cute hair ties! She is such a girl and loves to have her hair done all the time - what a perfect gift! :)
