We spent the holiday with our amazing friends TJ, Tesha, and their daughter Maddie! We enjoyed some swimming in their backyard pool, TJ BBQ'd some great steaks and corn on the cob and we stuffed ourselves with some delicious holiday desserts! There is nothing like enjoying the holidays with friends who feel like family! The girls adore one another and play so well together, and we adults laugh, talk and enjoy one anothers company, can't get any better than that!
The girls didn't last late enough for fireworks, but we saw a few here and there on our drive home! It was an amazing weekend overall and we are beyond thankful for the men and women who continue to protect our country and the real reason for this holiday!
