New "Fall" shoes
Ashley already LOVES shoes and has for a long time! She looks for the shoe department in certain stores now. . .I've created a monster! :)

Dancing and Singing in her mirror
So Ashley loves to put on her tutu and some crazy shoes and dance in front of her closet doors! She's always loved music and has danced since she could move. . .but lately she's working really hard on "jumping" and what a task for a little person! She loves to sing too, and is usually right on as far as pitch and tone it's amazing, but lately loves to yell to get as loud as the music!
She has also gotten really good about changing her dancing if the music is fast/upbeat or slow and relaxing. She's pretty hilarious! :)

My little, BIG girl
There are certain days when I dress her, or do her hair that Kev and I both say she looks 4 today! She looks older on certain days and I don't know why it surprises me. . . but it does. I know she's growing up and I want her to, so she can learn even more things and enjoy so much more of life, but at the same time, my little girl seems to be vanishing and a thinner, more mature BIG girl, is emerging!
I'm loving every minute of this life with her, and can't thank God enough for the chance to be at home with her and catch all "the little moments" throughout our day.

Messy face. . .
We have a pretty good eater on our hands and she is usually a very NEAT eater! She even scoops around her own mouth with her spoon when she feeds herself, because she doesn't like to make a mess.
Chocolate chips, Watermelon and Ice Cream are her new favorites and here they are! :)

What a good friend
So this all started in her bedroom when I put a blanket on the floor and set up a few animals to "watch" her dance to music in her room. She then started setting them up in a circle to lay down and talk to them.
The next day after nap all her animals came downstairs with us for her afternoon snack/cartoon! She even found EVERY stuffed animal from around downstairs too, so no one felt left out! I helped her set them up b/c some of them needed the couch to lean against, but other than that, she got them all set up and ready for books and a snack! She shared everything with all of them and the conversation was hilarious! :) What a good little "friend"! :)

4th of July weekend
We had a relaxing but productive weekend! Kev got some more pictures/frames hung around the house as well as some other "Honey-Do" items finished, so that felt really good!
We spent the holiday with our amazing friends TJ, Tesha, and their daughter Maddie! We enjoyed some swimming in their backyard pool, TJ BBQ'd some great steaks and corn on the cob and we stuffed ourselves with some delicious holiday desserts! There is nothing like enjoying the holidays with friends who feel like family! The girls adore one another and play so well together, and we adults laugh, talk and enjoy one anothers company, can't get any better than that!
The girls didn't last late enough for fireworks, but we saw a few here and there on our drive home! It was an amazing weekend overall and we are beyond thankful for the men and women who continue to protect our country and the real reason for this holiday!
