Sick Baby

AshB had a rough 3-4 days with a 101.5 fever. The crazy part was she was in the best spirits the whole time, after the first rough night. After day 4 of the fever breaking, she started with an odd rash on her back, chest and neck. The rash didn't spread, which was a blessing, but I found out the rash was just her little bodies way of dealing with a nasty virus! There is nothing worst than watching your little one not feel well - I don't mind the extra snuggling, but wish it was under different circumstances!

Splash Pad

Yea, so Ashley is 22 months and I finally took her to her first "splash pad"! That's pretty sad living in Arizona, but she can be quite hesitant, likes to warm up to things and she tends to stand back and "watch" all other kids playing. . .luckily the day we went there was only 1 other family so she got to move at her own pace instead of it being overrun with other kiddos!

She had a blast and I got some cute pics/video! :) Gotta love the fact that she still lets me put silly hats on her. . .hey, she'll thank me when she's older and has beautiful skin! :) hahahaha

Aunt Kathy Visits

Aunt Kathy came up to visit while in Tucson for work and we loved every minute of it! We went to dinner at Famous Daves BBQ the first night she was in town and Ashley was enthralled with "Wilbur" the pig! She loved waving and giving High-Fives in the air, but as soon as he came close to give her a real high-five she couldn't hide fast enough! It was hilarious and definitely kept her busy during dinner, because she kept a "look out" for him the whole time!

Aunt Kathy took AshB shopping while she was here, played plenty of puzzles, read many books, golfed some Wii, and had a blast in the sandbox out back!

Nana J and GiGi visit

We loved having Nana J and GiGi visit on their "Thelma and Louise" road trip! It was a great visit and Ashley loved just relaxing at home and showing/sharing all her toys and books with them! She loved calling both their names, enjoyed sharing her "potty accomplishments" with them, and could have played out back all night with them (if only it weren't soooo hot!) We got some amazing pictures and are truly thankful for our time together!
