Ashley has gotten much better with feeding herself and has tried cereal, oatmeal, chicken noodle soup, and anything else Daddy and I are eating! :)

She still loves mashed potatoes and those are much easier to clean up! :) hahaha

Eating. . .

So Ashley wasn't too interested in big girl food right away and now she eats like a champ! She loves diced up chicken or turkey! She loves diced up apples and grapes. She LOVES black beans and cooked pasta, so I mix it up and make small shells and then small pasta wheels - love to give her a variety! hahaha

She is eating really well and has done amazingly well with feeding herself with a spoon! She enjoys eating pasta and applesauce and loves to make a mess! AshB has done a great job with using the spoon the right way and just recently has started her new trick of turning the spoon over as it gets close to her mouth. So she eats the food off the spoon upside down - hilarious, but hoping it's just another phase! :)

Zoo Lights

The Phoenix Zoo does this amazing thing called "Zoo Lights" every holiday season. They decorate 1/2 of the zoo in a gazillion lights. They decorate trees, sidewalks, animal exhibits and even place lit up animal figurines through the zoo. It is absolutely gorgeous and some portions even have lights that dance to the music, the girls loved that! This year we went with our friends the Brown family (TJ, Tesha, and Maddie). The girls absolutely loved the Zoo Lights and were excellent throughout the evening, we had great weather too!

AshB loves wearing glasses (anyone and everyone's) so we couldn't resist. Light-up glasses were our fun purchase and she loves to wear them! She also loves to wear them up on her head like mommy does!

New Years Eve 2009

We enjoyed a nice relaxing evening with our friends TJ, Tesha, and Maddie for New Years Eve this year! We got together early in the afternoon and made it home around 8:30ish, put Ashley down, and were both out ourselves well before midnight! Hahaha sad, but true!

The girls love playing together and Ashley enjoyed playing with some of Maddie's new toys from Christmas! The girls both received Cozy Coupes for Christmas and Maddie can't get enough of hers either!



Oh' yea the coupe goes with us! hahaha

The dad's pushed the girls around the neighborhood. We're loving this wonderful weather!
