My new table

We've been looking like crazy for the perfect kitchen table and what a search it had been!  We finally found THE ONE and we are SUPER happy with it! :)

Grandma and I took Ashley to one of our local parks and we had a great time!  We rode the kiddo train around the park, fed the ducks, swung on the swings forever and slid down slides galore! :)  It was a gorgeous day and we had a blast! :)

Valentines Day 2011

 Ashley had some great gifts for Valentine's Day that she loved!  Daddy sent me some beautiful flowers and he surprised me with a nice dinner for 2 at the KEG steakhouse!    It was a great holiday filled with lots of LOVE! :)

Thanks to Grandma for her new life-size white teddy that Ashley named "Bo"!  Thanks to Nana J for all her gifts, she loved everything, especially the Bug book and Bug gift bag! :)  Thanks to the Mastny group for the candy and adorable clothes!  She was super excited about the heart magnets! :)

Where in the world has January gone. . .

It feels like time has flown by since Christmas and we've been super busy doing anything and everything!  Ashley has been growing like crazy and is over 35in tall and finally 22lbs! :)  Her hair has gotten super long and she loves for mommy to curl and play with her hair!  

She is a girly girl who loves her tutu's, dancing, singing, and playing with her dollies!  She is well rounded though because she can kick a soccer ball, loves to shoot basketball hoops and can play in the dirt with her dump trucks better than some boys! :)   She has always loved reading books, but we have such great snuggle time throughout the day to rock in the rocking chair and read like crazy!  One of my favorite things is to watch her read the same books to her animals/dollies and hear her version of the story!

January was a busy time, we got Grandma and Holly moved into their new apartments and Ashley was the best helper carrying smaller things to the Uhaul's and even better at painting Auntie Holly's new apartment!  They both have beautiful new homes and we're thankful they moved in the winter! :) hahaha

Ashley has become very independent and has started playing longer stretches by herself without needing anything from anyone!  It's great to see her growing up, but sad that she doesn't need me as much!
